Litigation Support

Neal Adams Services (NAS) has been heavily engaged in litigation support as an expert witness since the mid-1970s. Litigation support capabilities include serving as an expert witness, expert report preparation, deposition and trial testimony as well as graphics development for trials and mediations. NAS has been involved with preparation of a number of animations depicting circumstances associated with accidents. Clients include attorneys, oil and service companies and federal agencies worldwide.

Over the years, NAS has developed a reputation as a safety expert that supports the company’s oil and gas litigation support services. NAS maintains a large library of safety standards acquired from the American Petroleum Institute (API), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), International Standards Organization (ISO), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM), NORSOK (Norway) and Australian Pipeline Regulations. The company's Standards Library contains numerous out of print documents that are not currently available to the general public but often required in litigation.

To provide effective and meaningful value, an expert witness must possess numerous skills that include a sound engineering background, effective investigative methodologies, the ability to write and defend expert reports, and, perhaps the most important, the ability to teach and persuade a judge or lay jury. Dr. Neal Adams has repeatedly demonstrated he possesses these skills at a high level.
